Mary Kay Duggan’s research on early music printing began with music books printed in Italy (Italian Music Incunabula, UC Press, 1992) and continues with a book on music books printed in German-speaking lands. She is an emerita professor at UC Berkeley where she taught in the School of Information (formerly the School of Library and Information Studies) and the Dept. of Music.
